Virtuoso and inventive french drummer Sylvain Darrifourcq leads this minimalist-brutal-jazz trio through abstracted, brain-meltingly virtuosic compositions that come off like mashups of Ligeti, Satie, Mr. Bungle, and beautifully textured chamber music.
